Starbucks

Starbucks. The one coffee shop that everyone knows. Everywhere you turn there seems to be a Starbucks. In fact in 2018, there were 29,324 Starbucks' in the world. They are allegedly so popular that they just have to keep adding them so each block has one. They rarely have commercials or build boards advertising there coffee. So then how are they so effective?

Starbucks has tried to create this community within there coffee. They make everyone feel involved or excepted. For example, at Christmas they have coffee cups with individuals artwork to appeal that any ordinary person can be involved in Starbucks. On the walls they have bags of coffee that are fro, different parts of the world that you can choose to drink, so that they seem to have different cultures apart of them. They constantly have inspirational quotes on the walls to that they try to connect the motivation from the quotes meaning to their coffee.

Starbucks also draws people in with different drinks. Each fall they have the famous Pumpkin spice latte to have people come back for the flavor. They also put out a drink called the Unicorn Frappuccino. It is bright colors and is very sugary to attract younger people. They also put it out only a couple days a year to try to have more people come in on those days, instead of someone being able to buy it all year long. Starbucks environment and tactics have created market that would be hard for anyone to top. They have a lot of customers each day and more and more money too. Therefore, they will keep adding shops on every street that they get a chance.
